I hadn't read anything by Jennifer Colgan but was interested in the premise of the story. It was a pleasant surprise to find that I really enjoyed it. The characters were interesting, the premise was different and the sex was hot. I recommend this book to anyone looking for a good read. She is one author I will read more of.Product details

Jennifer Colgan can always be counted on for a fast-paced, interesting story, great characters and wonderful romantic situations. You won't be disappointed in this one!
Like the other reviewers I was surprised at how good the story was. It's rare that you get a good plot, romance, and humor from a ebook that cost .99 cents. Buy this ebook, it's so worth it!
Kind of disapointed with this one. I love sci-fi and tried to venture into the romance genre but it just really doesn't work here. Too much romance, not enough sci-fi!!! Not to mention the sex was mediocre at best when it got down to it. I also would have preferred a stronger female character, this one is just as empty as Bella from the dreaded horror of the Twilight novels. However, the first half of the book wasn't bad and maybe the end is okay, but I just haven't gotten that far out of depression for its failings. I found the whole beach resort on the random island thing to be very cop-outy and not sci-fi-esque in the slightest.
